At the Oklahoma City Chess Club, upstairs in the Kamp's 1910 Café building at 10 NE 10th Street in downtown Oklahoma City.

Format

Must be 18+ to play.
4-SS, G/45 +15
Dual rated (affects both regular and quick). Regular rating used for pairings (February supplement).

Sections & prizes*

Open (guaranteed): $200, $175, $150
U1700: $125, $100, $75
U1100: $100, $75, $50

*Open prizes guaranteed. All others: estimates are based on 50 full-price entries.

 

Schedule

Late registration from 9 to 9:30. Players who register after 9:30 will receive a half-point bye in the first round.

10:00 round one
12:30 round two
2:30 round three
4:30 round four

Use the link below to register online (recommended) or register onsite* from 9 to 9:30.

 

*If the tournament has not reached capacity. Since space is limited, we encourage you to register in advance.

 

Titled players: free entry. (EF will be deducted from prize.) Just send an email with your name and US Chess ID number. All others: $30 EF by February 8; $40 after. Seniors* (65+) and full-time college students who register by Feb. 8: $25. 

 

*Seniors who wish to pay EF in cash can still receive the full discount — just be sure to email us by Feb 8.

Misc.

Byes: One half-point bye available in any round. Last-round byes must be requested before the start of the tournament. All others: must request before round three is paired. New players: read more about byes.
 

Current US Chess membership required. Check your expiration date here and email us if you need to join or renew. New players: learn more about your US Chess membership options.

Bring your own clock. Sets provided.
