OKLAHOMA CHESS MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2023

 

This month's issue features games from the inaugural Rozsa Trophy, an invitational round robin for the state's top six active players. This year's winner was NM Tom Braunlich, who finished at the top of an elite field that also included FM Ryan AmburgyDavid ZelnickAnthony Paolercio, NM Mark Hulsey, and six-time Oklahoma state champion NM Thomas Amburn.  PLUS: Andrew Browne and Shaun Graham score BIG at the North American Open, a record crowd at the Holiday Open (with David 's annotated game with Roshan Valentine from that event), and a fond farewell to two Oklahoma players: Jerry Coffee and Richard Ravits.
