In the tradition of the beloved Challengers series, tournament chess is back at the Regency Park Baptist Church in Moore. Our thanks to Challengers member Ray Chidester for allowing us to return to this great venue!

Format: Four rounds (Swiss), Game in 45 minutes with a 5-second delay

​

Sections: Premier, U1600, U1000. Must be within 100 points to play up to Premier (+$10).

Premier & U1600 prizes (estimates based on 40 full-price entries): Premier 1st $150, 2nd $100, 3rd $50; U1600 1st $100, 2nd $65, 3rd $35

 

U1000 prizes: trophies to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. For first-place ties, winner is determined by a blitz tiebreak round. Mathematical tiebreaks to determine all others.
 

Round times: 10:00, 12:30, 2:30, 4:30

$25 EF by July 20/August 24 (deadline is the Thursday before the event.)

20 percent discount for Seniors (65+), full-time college students with ID, and siblings under 18 (when two or more siblings are being registered). Must register by the Thursday before the event. 

Late/onsite entries: $30 (no discounts). No checks.
