The Tulsa Java Users Group voted unanimously to adopt a chess oriented project proposal for it’s Community Service project. The project will be an internet based service designed for chess tournaments. Tournament chess players will be able to enter their moves on any internet connected device, such as iPhones or Android phones, using their mobile browser. The moves will be transmitted to a central server that can then push the games in a PGN format for uploading to a Tournament Directors computer that use programs such as WinTD or SwissSys.
