Congratulations to Mack Howard of Arkansas for visiting Oklahoma and going undefeated to earn top honors at the LDMO held 2-3 September in Tulsa. Mack is a long-time chess friend and it was a pleasure to face him over the board once again.

Junior player Blythe Buscher of Kansas had a very impressive performance. She was the only C player to score 3.5 points. Another impressive performance was put in by E player Bobby Flinchum who scored 3 points.

Rod Whitlatch did a fine job as our volunteer TD for this event which had 40 door registrations. This event puts him one step closer to earning his Senior TD certification. Way to go Rod!

The turnout for the event was even better than last year with 37 Okies and 7 visitors from other states. Most importantly, a great time was had by all.

Thanks to all the players and volunteers for making this another successful LDMO.
