Bill Molton - Altus

  • Retired Lieutenant Colonel U S Air Force with 28 years service on June 30, 1988

  • Came to Altus in 1989 to work for the Hughes Technical Services Company instructing navigators and pilots on C-141 Aircraft Systems/Procedures

  • In 1996, became the Training Systems Manager for the C-141 Aircraft Aircrew Training System with the FlightSafety Services Corporation

  • In 2001 became semi-retired when the C-141 Aircraft Aircrew Training System was moved to Ohio. Work part time as a navigation instructor for L3 Link Simulation and Training Company

  • Retired at age 65 in August 2003

  • Started playing Tournament Chess in California in 1985 and have been in USCF since then

  • Started chess club at Altus Air Force Base several times during the 1990's but could not sustain interest

  • Have been a member of the Lawton Chess club and Oklahoma Chess Association since 1990

Jeremy Moore - Tulsa

  • 2000 USAEUR 2nd Place; 2001 USAEUR Chess Champion (United States Army Europe).
  • Founder of the Mannheim Chess and Gaming Club.
  • Veteran United States Army.
  • Work as a Casino Game Technician (No I can't tell you how to cheat the machines).
  • Played 5th board for VLK Lampertheim, in the German Chess League.
