You Too Can Organize a Chess Tournament

The OCA is intentionally not dominating the tournament schedule to help create opportunities for all interested in organizing tournaments to do so. If you would like to organize a tournament, we hope you’ll include the OCA in the planning process. Your USCF State Affiliate OCA is always ready to mutually support any tournament organizer with: Advice; Tournament Directors; Promotion through the OCB, email broadcasts and the OCA website at www.ochess.org; or anything else we can do to help.

After you experience the enjoyment of organizing your own tournament, we do ask that you be considerate of other organizers by not hogging all the fun and the tournament schedule.
