Missouri Fall Open

Someone submitted a fictitious tournament rating report for the MO Fall Open. This event was not held in Florrissant, MO on 16-17 Oct 04 and the 38 Oklahoma players, 2 Arkansas players and TD Mike Swatek were not there. The USCF is investigating this and is correcting the ratings of the players affected by this unfortunate act against a large number of Oklahoma chess players. Regular ratings that change in the February 2004 Supplement have been corrected. Regular ratings based on the December 2004 publication will continue to show the error, until a regular tournament is played and the rating update is published.
