Membership
OSCO: 401 Additional OSCO free memberships from six OSCO events with 141, 212 (record Grade Championship), 164, 229 (State Record), 204 and 236 participants at the State Championship (State Record). There are many more OSCO adult volunteer members with scholastic clubs across the state, with more being added frequently. In 2006-7, OSCO will have eight Grand Prix events.

Other Jim Gray and Chuck Unruh were delegates again at the USCF Annual Meeting last August.
OSCO provided $1000 in scholarships for Oklahoma Scholastic Open Champions to participate in 2006 National Scholastic Tournaments. Also, the OSCO Grand Prix awarded a total of $1186 divided evenly among 4 grade grouping winners for chess training and tournament expenses.
As of this
evening, 3 college 529 scholarships totaling $1000 will have been donated and
awarded to 900+ rated players in open tournaments for all ages.
